Mark started his musical career at DJM Studios London in 1974. Whilst there Mark started to learn his craft going through the “traditional” apprenticeship path of tea-boy, tape copyist, assistant engineer then engineer.
In 1978 he was head hunted by Marcus Osterdahl to help setup and build Marcus Studios in Bayswater London. This was a very fruitful time for Mark working with many of the top acts of the day. In 1982 Mark decided the time was right to “go freelance”. And since then has been in constant demand to help deliver his very individual brand of musical capture. In the preceding years Mark Wallis has become the “go to person” for labels and producers, who want that ultra wide, big screen, jingle jangle sound on their records.
